Experience the most amazing and extraordinary way to see Fort Lauderdale by land and sea; the Fort Lauderdale Duck Tour. Fort Lauderdale's gained its nicknames as "The Venice of The Americas" and "The Mega Yacht Capital of the World" and the Duck Tour will show you why. On board of this unique amphibious vehicle, not only will you splish splash around the Mega Yachts but you will also see the luxurious mansions of the rich and famous along Fort Lauderdale's beautiful Intracostal Waterway. On land, the tour will take you through the famous Las Olas Blvd, you will also visit Old Fort Lauderdale Village and see the oldest hotel in the city, the New River Inn, which now houses the Fort Lauderdale Museum of History. This was the first building in Broward County to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places. You will also see the historic Philemon Bryan House, a four-square Vernacular style house, the Acetylene Building, which produced acetylene gas to light the New River Inn, and the King-Cromartie House Museum, which belonged to one of the first pioneer families in Fort Lauderdale. The site also includes a replica of the first Broward County school house. This 90-minute adventure is fully interactive and narrated by one of the funniest DUCKtainers. The Duck Tour is surely delight people of all ages.
